Student getting started
Sign in, join your section with a learner code, and find lessons, quizzes, discussions, tutor help, and grades.
A short path from first account to your coursework on SOL.
Live app: https://www.strat-ops.net/learning
SOL is the teaching layer your professor uses alongside the LMS. You join with a code, then learn from materials they released for your course only.
1. Create your account
- Open https://www.strat-ops.net/learning
- Choose Sign up (or
/learning/signup) - Use your school email when possible
- Complete verification if prompted, then sign in at
/learning/login
Open Open your dashboard: students land on the student dashboard.
2. Join your section
Your professor will share a learner enrolment code (syllabus, LMS post, email, or class slide). There is no public course catalog to browse into.
- On your student dashboard, find the enrolment form
- Enter the learner enrolment code exactly as given
- Submit to join the section
If the code fails, confirm you have the learner code (not a faculty code) and that there are no extra spaces.
3. Find your coursework
Once enrolled:
| Place | What you will find |
|---|---|
| Overview | Snapshot of enrolments and recent activity |
| Lessons | Released lessons and flashcards (details) |
| Assignments | Quizzes (scored), lessons, discussions, and interactives |
| Discussions | Course discussions assigned to your sections |
| Grades | Scores and feedback on submitted work |
When a course tutor is available, answers stay grounded in that course’s materials, not the open web.
4. How grading works (in plain terms)
For open responses, SOL matches your answer against the professor’s rubric, then computes a score. Your professor can review or adjust anything that looks unsure. Prefer reading the feedback, not only the total.
5. Payments (only at some institutions)
Some deployments ask students to complete enrolment payment before the full dashboard opens. If you see a payment screen, finish that step, then return to your dashboard. If payments are not enabled for your school, skip this.

Need help?
Ask your professor for the correct learner code, or contact your institution’s SOL administrator. Faculty setup is covered in Faculty onboarding.
